Lynsey Kmetz began her legal career as an Assistant Solicitor prosecuting white collar criminal defendants and then spent seven years in civil litigation with the Foster Law Firm, LLC in Greenville, SC. Lynsey relocated with her family to Charlotte, NC in 2014 and has enjoyed becoming involved in the Queen City’s civic and legal community. She is a member of the Mint Museum’s Auxiliary, a sustainer of the Junior League of Charlotte and a member of Myers Park Presbyterian Church.
While practicing law in South Carolina, Lynsey served as an officer of the South Carolina Bar Young Lawyer’s Division. During her term as President, the SC Bar Young Lawyers Division was awarded an unprecedented 1st place in each of the ABA Awards of Achievement categories as well as a national award for Service to the Bar for their Family Events. Lynsey feels strongly that that young lawyers will enhance their fulfillment in the practice of law through their engagement with the young lawyers division within their state bar. She is a member of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and served as Liaison and Advisory Board Member to the Commission on Youth at Risk and Vice Chair of the Women in the Profession Committee.
Lynsey served two terms on the South Carolina Bar Board of Governors, House of Delegates and Future of the Profession Committee as well as the South Carolina Women Lawyers Association Board of Directors.
